المملكة: Thwarting the smuggling of 48 thousand pills "Captagon" In a modern outlet

The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority was able to… "Zatka" At the Haditha port, an attempt to smuggle 47,927 amphetamine pills was thwarted "Captagon"It was found hidden in one of the trucks coming to the Kingdom through the port.
The official spokesman for "Zatka" Hammoud Al-Harbi said that when one of the trucks arrived in the Kingdom through the Al-Haditha port, was subject to customs procedures, and was inspected using security techniques and live means, that quantity of grains was found hidden in the consignment carried on the truck.
Arresting the recipients of the seized items
Al-Harbi added that after completing the seizure process, coordination was made with the General Directorate of Narcotics Control to ensure the arrest of the recipients of the seized items inside the Kingdom, where they were arrested, amounting to 4 people.
The official spokesman for the Authority confirmed that "Zatka" Through all its customs ports, it continues to tighten customs control over the Kingdom’s imports and exports, and stands on the lookout for attempts by smugglers, in order to achieve the most prominent pillars of its strategy, which is to enhance the security and protection of society, by reducing attempts to smuggle such pests and other prohibited items.

Al-Harbi called on everyone to contribute to combating smuggling to protect society and the national economy by communicating with the Authority on the number designated for security reports (1910) or via e-mail (Email: 1910@zatca.gov.sa) and the international number ().
Through these channels, the Authority receives reports related to smuggling crimes and violations of the provisions of the Unified Customs System in complete confidentiality, while granting a financial reward to the whistleblower if the report’s information is correct.
