المملكة: Saudi Scouts launches the largest digital scouting event in the world

The participation of the ScoutingSaudi Arabia in the World Jamboree activities on air and online (JOTA-JOTI 2025), which is the largest digital scouting event in the world, and is held during the period from October 17 to 19 under the slogan "A world shaped by young people"With the participation of more than two million Scouts from 170 countries.
The event aims to strengthen bridges of communication between the world’s youth through modern communication technologies such as radio waves and the Internet, which contributes to exchanging scouting experiences, developing life skills, and consolidating the concepts of global citizenship and cultural understanding among peoples.
On this occasion, the association launched a camp Field and virtual scouting at the headquarters of the Applied College of the General Organization for Technical and Vocational Training in Riyadh, which includes a group of interactive activities, training programs and scouting workshops, which aim to connect scouts in the Kingdom with their colleagues around the world, and share with them their experiences in serving local and global communities.

The Secretary-General of the Saudi Arabian Scouts Association, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Mudayres, explained that participation comes within the Association’s keenness to enhance the presence of Saudi Scouts in international scouting forums, and to benefit from the global event in conveying the bright image of the Kingdom and introducing its pioneering initiatives in the fields of humanitarian work and sustainable development, foremost of which is the initiative "Messengers of peace" Which entered its second phase this year with the support of the Kingdom’s government, in addition to community projects that promote the values of tolerance, cooperation and peace among peoples.
Dr. Al-Mudaris pointed out that “JOTA-JOTI” represents an opportunity to embody the Kingdom’s message of spreading the culture of goodness and giving, stressing that the Saudi Scouts continue to play their role in building bridges of friendship and peace among the youth of the world in a way that reflects its authentic values and principles. Humanity.
For his part, the leader of the event, Ali Al-Qarni, explained that the camp’s activities include scouting workshops and specialized training programs, in addition to interactive educational sessions that highlight the importance of global participation in the Jamboree and the role of scouting in serving communities, noting that the event contributes to enabling young people to use technology to enhance the spirit of leadership and social responsibility.
