The Deputy Minister of Health receives an Iraqi delegation to discuss cooperation in family development and population health

Dr. Abla Alfi, Deputy Minister of Health and Population, received an Iraqi delegation headed by Dr. Riyad Abdel Amir Al-Halafi, Director General of the Public Health Department of the Iraqi Ministry of Health, and including Dr. Kholoud Odeh, Director of the Reproductive Health and School Health Department, and Dr. Kamal Abdel Razzaq, representative of the Immunization Department, to discuss ways of joint cooperation and exchange of experiences in the fields of family development and population health, in implementation of Dr. Khaled’s directives. Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar pointed out that Dr. Abla Alfy reviewed during the meeting indicators of improvement in demographic characteristics in Egypt, including This includes a decrease in caesarean section rates and a decrease in neonatal mortality rates, and ways of joint cooperation between the two sides in the fields of population health and family development were also discussed.
