Al-Jazira wins three valuable points… and Mimi wastes 4 clear chances

Al-Jazira team achieved an important and valuable victory away from home, after defeating Dibba Al-Fujairah with an unanswered goal, in the match that brought the two teams together this Saturday evening in the sixth round of the ADNOC Professional League, even though Al-Jazira played with ten players since the 42nd minute of the first half.
With this victory, Al Jazira raised its score to 10 points, while Dibba remained in last place with only one point.

The match witnessed the brilliance of Al-Jazira goalkeeper Ali Khasif, who stood in the way of the attempts of Dibba striker, Iraqi Muhannad Ali (Mimi), who wasted four scoring opportunities, most notably in the 11th and 76th minutes, as a result of close defensive monitoring and Khasif’s vigilance.

The only goal of the match was scored by Al-Jazira player Bruno Oliveira in the 17th minute, benefiting from a precise long pass played to him by his colleague Koulibaly, despite the great defensive intensity imposed by “Al-Nawakhda”.

The stands of Dibba Stadium witnessed a moderate crowd attendance, even though its capacity reached 10,000 spectators.
