Cairo University is looking into employing artificial intelligence to confront cyber threats

Hall 78 at the Faculty of Arts witnessed a scientific session entitled “Synergism between artificial intelligence and cybersecurity,” with the participation of an elite group of experts in cybersecurity, digital transformation, and technical legislation, to discuss ways to employ artificial intelligence to strengthen digital protection systems and confront increasing cyber threats, within the framework of the activities of the Cairo University International Conference on Intelligence.
Participated in the session were Dr. Mohamed Hegazy, an expert in public policies, legislation and regulatory affairs, Dr. Adel Abdel Moneim, a cybersecurity expert, Engineer Mahmoud Tawfiq, an expert in cybersecurity and digital transformation, and Engineer Ibrahim Mustafa, and the session was moderated by Engineer Mohamed Al-Fateh.
The session discussed the role of artificial intelligence in supporting cyber defense through early detection of Threats, behavior analysis, and intelligent attack classification.
