3 cranes fall… one dead and 9 injured in a sudden tornado north of Paris
A construction worker was killed and 9 other people were injured, 4 of them in critical condition, after 3 cranes fell as a result of A sudden and violent tornado struck several towns north of Paris on Monday, according to what the French authorities announced.
The disaster occurred in the town of Hermon, 21 kilometers northeast of Paris, when it struck "A sudden, violent tornado, concentrated around 10 towns at 17:50 (15:50 GMT)"according to what was announced by Governor Philippe Coeur.
The Public Prosecutor of the Republic in Pontoise, Geric Le Pra, said that the toll of the disaster was one dead and 9 wounded.
