"health" Announces the objectives of the third edition of the World Conference on Population, Health and Human Development
The Ministry of Health and Population announced the objectives of the third edition of the World Conference on Population, Health and Human Development (PHDC’25), which is scheduled to be held from November 11 to 13, 2025 in the conference hall of the St. Regis Hotel in the New Administrative Capital, under the generous patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
The official spokesman, Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, indicated To the Ministry of Health and Population, the conference comes this year to confirm the state’s commitment to advancing comprehensive and sustainable human development, by addressing population, health and social challenges, and investing human energies in building the future.
He continued that the goals of the third edition of the conference this year include promoting sustainable human development through investing in lifelong learning, digital skills, and ensuring equality in Education and work opportunities for all, promoting health and social justice by expanding universal health coverage, and integrating social determinants of health into public policies, while giving priority to protecting the most vulnerable groups.
"Abdul Ghaffar" added, The conference also aims to empower all generations, by supporting effective participation in society, encouraging healthy and productive aging, and providing full opportunities to unleash their energies on development paths.
Abdul Ghaffar continued: The third edition aims to strengthen identity and social cohesion, by employing culture and sports as effective means of building community affiliation, enhancing resilience and civic participation, and responding to global challenges related to migration, environmental change, and population fragility, by adopting innovative, knowledge-based solutions that are in line with global transformations.
