Deputy Foreign Minister: Egypt’s efforts do not stop to stop the military escalation and alleviate the suffering of civilians in Gaza

Ambassador Abu Bakr Hafni Mahmoud, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Egyptian Affairs Abroad, reviewed the ongoing Egyptian efforts to stop the military escalation and alleviate the suffering of civilians in Gaza.
This came during the Deputy Foreign Minister’s reception, today, Tuesday, of a delegation from the Foreign Relations Committee of the Danish Parliament, in the presence of Ambassador Heba Zaki, Assistant Foreign Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, and Ambassador Wael Hamed, Assistant Foreign Minister for European Affairs, This is within the framework of strengthening bilateral relations and exchanging visions on regional and international issues of common interest.
Ambassador Abu Bakr Hafni stressed the importance of concerted international efforts to support the path of calm, and to ensure the urgent and safe arrival of humanitarian aid.
The meeting witnessed an in-depth discussion. On developments in the situation in the Gaza Strip.
The meeting also discussed ways to enhance parliamentary and diplomatic cooperation between Egypt and Denmark, and the importance of coordination on issues related to regional stability, especially the challenges the region is witnessing that require balanced responses that preserve security and support peace efforts.
For their part, Members of the Danish delegation expressed their appreciation for Egypt’s pivotal role in supporting stability in the Middle East, especially with regard to mediation in conflicts, stressing their country’s commitment to continuing dialogue with regional partners to advance peaceful solutions.
