The Minister of Public Business Sector witnesses a centenary celebration "Rose Al-Youssef"

Engineer Mohamed Shimi, Minister of the Public Business Sector, participated in the celebration organized by the Rose Al-Youssef Foundation on the occasion of the centenary of the issuance of the first issue of its prestigious magazine, under the patronage of Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, and in the presence of a number of ministers, governors, senior public figures, and symbols of thought, culture, and media.
The Minister confirmed in his speech that his participation in This occasion comes out of deep appreciation for the national and cultural role that the Rose Al-Youssef Foundation represents in the Egyptian conscience, noting that the celebration is not limited to the passage of a century since the founding of a journalistic institution, but rather is a celebration of an inspiring national story, and a cultural and intellectual edifice that contributed to shaping the awareness of generations, and consolidating the values of enlightenment and national identity.
Engineer Shimi pointed out that Rose Al-Youssef It was not just a magazine, but rather a national platform and progressive thought that held the word responsible, and made journalism a message that could not be neglected. He referred to the beginnings of the institution that was founded by an exceptional woman, Mrs. Fatima Al-Youssef, who gave Egypt and the Arab world a political, cultural, and artistic magazine with this level of enlightenment and influence.
The Minister of Public Business Sector also stressed that the role of the media and journalism is among the essential pillars of building the modern state, an essential pillar for consolidating national awareness, and a necessary lever for sustainable development. He explained that Rose Al-Youssef magazine, since its first publication in 1925, has established its position as a platform for shaping public opinion, a school for creating symbols, and a beacon for freedom of thought and expression, making it an institution of an exceptional character in the history of Arab journalism. He added that the Ministry of Public Business Sector is committed to a clear vision in managing the assets of subsidiaries and achieving the maximum benefit from them, while enhancing governance, sustainability, and maximizing returns, within the framework of the state’s efforts for comprehensive and sustainable development.
At the end of his speech, the Minister sent a greeting of appreciation to the National Press Authority, and to all the employees of the Rose Al-Youssef Foundation, for their efforts in preserving and continuing this ancient entity.
