South Sinai Governor Rosaly Youssef at the centenary celebration: “Free, responsible speech is the first line of defense for the nation’s identity.”

Major General Dr. Khaled Mubarak, Governor of South Sinai, participated yesterday evening in the Rosa Al-Youssef Foundation’s celebration on the occasion of the centenary of the publication of the first issue of the magazine, which was held in the Cairo Hall of the Nile Ritz-Carlton Hotel, in the presence of an elite group of ministers, ambassadors, heads of media and press bodies, major writers and thinkers, heads of universities and parties, and figures of culture and art. And the media.

 

The governor stressed, in his speech during the celebration, that the Rosaly Youssef Foundation represents a journalistic platform, a national conscience, and a school of enlightened thought. It has carried, for an entire century, the banner of the honest word, contributed to shaping the conscience of the Egyptian and Arab nation, and defended awareness, culture, and thought.

 

Major General Khaled Mubarak extended greetings and appreciation to Engineer Abdel Sadiq Al-Shorbaji, Chairman of the National Press Authority, Professor Hebat Allah Sadiq, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Rosa Al-Youssef Foundation, and Professor Ahmed Embabi, Editor-in-Chief of Rosa Al-Youssef Magazine, and all the editors-in-chief and employees of the Foundation, in appreciation of their professional and patriotic contributions and their continuous efforts in supporting public awareness and raising awareness. The governor referred to what His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi affirmed during the recent educational symposium on the importance of the national media in the “battle of awareness”, as a bridge linking the state to society, conveying the truth and protecting minds from misinformation, stressing that the Rosal Youssef Foundation embodies this pioneering role. Through its honest positions and constant bias towards the homeland.

 

The Governor of South Sinai also appreciated the professional coverage provided by the Foundation regarding the success of Egypt hosting the peace summit in Sharm El-Sheikh, which embodied the ability of the Egyptian state, led by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, to manage major events, make peace, and consolidate regional stability. And international.

 

He concluded his speech by stressing that today’s celebration does not concern a journalistic institution only, but rather is a celebration of a nation that believes in the value of the word, and a new republic built on awareness and knowledge, stressing that culture, thought and media are the first line of defense for Egyptian identity.

 

At the end of his speech, he said:
