With the participation of researchers from around the world…the Faculty of Information at Al-Ahram Canadian University hosts an academic conference "Remar" Turkish

Within the framework of its continued support for scientific research and global academic openness, the Faculty of Information at Al-Ahram Canadian University is preparing to organize the thirteenth international conference under the title “Communication Studies from Interdisciplinary Approaches” (Communication Studies from Multidisciplinary Perspectives), during the period from 4 to 6 November 2025, in partnership with the “Remar” Academy. (Rimar Academy) in Turkey, headed by Dr. Amer Kaplan.
The conference activities will be held over three days, with in-person sessions held at the Hilton Golf Pyramids Hotel on November 4 and 5, while the activities of the third day (November 6) are dedicated to online participants.
65 are participating in the conference this year. Researchers from more than ten Arab and foreign countries, including: Egypt, Sudan, Iraq, Morocco, Nigeria, Senegal, Saudi Arabia, the Emirates, and Syria, in addition to active participation from the faculties of Al-Ahram Canadian University, including the Faculty of Information, the Faculty of Computers and Information, the Faculty of Languages and Translation, and the Faculty of Design and Creative Arts.
In a special statement, Professor Dr. Khaled Hamdi Abdel Rahman, President of Al-Ahram Canadian University, confirmed that the organization of this conference It reflects the university’s keenness to enhance its academic and research standing regionally and internationally, indicating that scientific conferences represent an effective platform for exchanging experiences and producing common knowledge between researchers from different countries.
For her part, Professor Dr. Enas Abu Youssef, Dean of the College of Media, explained that the thirteenth international conference comes as a culmination of the college’s journey in supporting modern media studies and keeping pace with research developments in the fields of communication. And the media, stressing that the college seeks to build sustainable bridges of communication with international academic institutions.
Professor Dr. Enas Abdel Hamid, Vice Dean of the College for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, also indicated that the conference embodies the college’s vision of integrating different academic specializations within a common research framework, which contributes to enriching media thought and developing scientific research tools.
In the same context, Dr. Fidaa Muhammad affirmed, Head of the International Office at the College of Information, said that organizing the conference reflects the college’s excellence in managing international academic events, noting that hosting an elite group of researchers from various Arab and foreign countries consolidates the college’s position as a distinguished scientific center in the fields of media and communication.
