The Prime Minister inaugurates a factory "Addo Mina Building Materials Industry" In Sokhna Industrial Zone

Today, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, and his entourage inaugurated the “Addo Mina Building Materials Factory” today. (S.A.E.), which specializes in the production of plastic profiles (PVC) for windows, within the scope of the industrial developer “Orascom Industrial Estates (OIP)” In the Sokhna Industrial Zone, affiliated with the General Authority for the Suez Canal Economic Zone; This is in implementation of the state’s vision of supporting manufacturing industries and deepening local industrialization.

 Dr. Mostafa Madbouly confirmed that the Egyptian government continues to support private sector projects with high added value, noting that this type of industry contributes to deepening the local component in the industry, as well as enhancing the competitiveness of the Egyptian product in regional markets. For his part, he explained  Walid Gamal El-Din, Chairman of the General Authority for the Suez Canal Economic Zone, said that the “Addo Mina” project It represents a new qualitative addition to the industrial zone in Sokhna, as it provides the required industrial inputs in the construction sectors, stressing that the Authority continues to provide an attractive investment environment through advanced infrastructure and integrated facilities for local and international investors.  

Following the unveiling to mark the opening, the Prime Minister and his entourage toured the factory, accompanied by an explanation from company officials, where Emre Aksoy, CEO of ADO Group of Companies, welcomed the Prime Minister and the audience, to the “ADO Mina Building Materials Factory”, which represents the first step in the company’s long-term investment plans, and represents Its commitment to contributing to improving support for the growth of the Egyptian economy, as it benefits from the facilities provided to investors and export facilities, and will be a production center not only for the local market, but for all parts of the Middle East and Africa.  

The CEO of the company added that the Addo Group was founded in 1956, and has extensive experience spanning more than fifty years in the field of manufacturing building materials, as it offers 8 products in its factories located in 6 countries, extending over a total area of ​​800 thousand square metres, indicating that the group has provided more than 3,500 permanent job opportunities, and also enjoys… With a leading reputation in the field of export with a wide network covering more than 80 countries. The executive director of the company explained that the factory is being built on an area of ​​55.1 thousand square meters, with Turkish investments amounting to 15 million dollars pumped into the implementation of the project, and trial operation began in August 2025, and it consists of two sections, the first for manufacturing PVC windows with a production capacity of up to 15 thousand tons annually, and another for manufacturing doors that are being prepared so that work on them can actually begin. Next January, with a production capacity of about 75 thousand doors annually, it will also provide about 100 direct job opportunities in its early stages.  

While inspecting the production stages of the factory, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, and his companions listened to an explanation from  Youssef Karut, factory director, about the stage of mixing materials and their inputs (PVC)  Which is produced in Egypt, as well as calcium carbonate, which is also produced in Egypt, adding that the two materials constitute approximately 90% of the factory’s product.  

As the factory director explained, the flow of the production process in its successive stages, to transform the raw material into a high-quality plastic material, so that it enters the mold to take the shape to be manufactured, all the way to the final product section, then the quality stage to ensure that the final product conforms to international standards, and is sent to the packaging section and then the warehouse section in preparation for distribution in the local market or export. To the outside. The Prime Minister also saw models of the factory’s final product, about which information is written that includes the name of the manufacturer, the name and type of the product, the code for the product and the place of its manufacture. It was noted that the materials used in the packaging are also 100% locally made and purchased from the local Egyptian market. Thus, the company’s goal is achieved in achieving a percentage of more than 90% of the local component, while providing a high-quality product. And it conforms to approved international standards.
