The Israeli army says it has eliminated an arms dealer deep in Lebanon

The Israeli army said, on Sunday, that the Air Force eliminated an arms dealer named Ali Hussein al-Moussawi, affiliated with Hezbollah, in the Bekaa region, deep in Lebanon.

 

According to the Israeli army spokesman, al-Moussawi worked as a dealer and arms smuggler for Hezbollah, and as part of his role, he was involved in purchasing and transporting weapons from Syria to Lebanon, and served as a figurehead. A mission in strengthening and rebuilding Hezbollah’s capabilities, according to the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth.

In addition, the Air Force eliminated Abdel Mahmoud al-Sayyid in the Naqoura region in southern Lebanon, who, according to the Israeli army, was the local representative of Hezbollah in the Bayada region in the southern part of the country and was responsible for coordination between Hezbollah and the local population in economic and military affairs.
