Summit participants "Asia Pacific Cities and Mayors Forum" They praise the Dubai experience

Dubai, 27 October / WAM / Participants in the Asia-Pacific Cities Summit and Mayors Forum 2025, which kicked off today, at the Dubai Exhibition Center in Expo City Dubai, confirmed that Dubai has become a global model to be emulated in the development of smart and sustainable cities based on partnership between the public and private sectors and integration between humans and technology.

Seema Kidwani Vaid, founder and chairwoman of the Apparel Group, said that the group’s launch from Dubai and its global spread reflects the supportive environment that the emirate provides for entrepreneurship, noting that the group includes more than 85 brands and 2,400 stores in 14 countries and employs about 27,000 employees. She expressed her pride in Dubai’s vision and leadership that was behind her company’s successes, and praised Dubai’s thought, which makes partnership between the public and private sectors A base for building prosperous cities.

Dr. Majid Arab, CEO of Future OS at Expo City Dubai, explained that the company is displaying during the summit its latest technologies in the fields of artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things and live broadcasting, indicating that Dubai has become a role model in digital transformation and management of smart cities that put people at the heart of its priorities.

Sasoon Sadiq, CEO of Exalogic, stressed that modern technologies such as artificial intelligence and geospatial intelligence represent the basis for building the cities of tomorrow, pointing out that Dubai was the source of inspiration for developing the company’s solutions, which was founded 15 years ago in the emirate, and today its products are widely used in the region and the world, stressing that what has been achieved in Dubai embodies a pioneering model of what the cities of the future can be.
