This comes in light of the Ministry of Interior’s keenness to build community awareness to confront rumors, destructive ideas, and plots to overthrow countries.

 

The workshop targeted a number of topics related to Egyptian national security; The most prominent of which are: the development of the concept of war, fourth-generation wars, projects to divide the Middle East region, non-violent war, the creation of a failed state, mechanisms and tools for demolishing states from within, and the state’s efforts to thwart these plans.

 

The awareness program of the workshop included organizing an inspection visit to the Correction and Rehabilitation Center in the Tenth of Ramadan with the aim of identifying aspects of development and modernization of the penal system that the Ministry has pursued by replacing traditional prisons with correctional centres. And rehabilitation that takes into account modern international standards.

 

The visit included an inspection of the medical center and learning about the medical and health services provided to the inmates, as well as an inspection of the rehabilitation and technical education buildings, the practice halls for artistic and cultural activities, and the literacy classes.

 

The participants also viewed the sports fields, the nursery building for custodial inmates and their children, the children’s play area, as well as the productive projects for rehabilitation. The inmates.

 

The visit activities concluded with watching an artistic performance by the musical band for male and female inmates of the Correction and Rehabilitation Center.

 

This was followed by a field visit to the General Administration for Narcotics Control in the sector of combating drugs, weapons and unlicensed ammunition to review the Ministry’s efforts towards decisively confronting trafficking in narcotic substances in all its forms and raising awareness among participants of its harms and how to prevent it.
