Updating beneficiary data
The Citizen’s Account clarified that the beneficiary data must be updated periodically, in accordance with Article Seventeen of the controls for the support provided through the program.
The article states: "The applicant or primary beneficiary – as the case may be – must update his electronic account when any change occurs to the information and Data that he had previously entered and that change had an impact on the eligibility and entitlement evaluation cycle, within a period not exceeding (fifteen) days from the date of the change. If he violates this, the Ministry may take any of the measures stipulated in Article (Twenty) of the controls".

Article 20 of"Citizen account"
Article 20 of the Citizen’s Account Controls stipulates imposing penalties on anyone who provides misleading information or fails to disclose essential information to obtain support illegally. Penalties include stopping support for the primary beneficiary, depriving him of support for a period of up to two years, and recovering the support he obtained unlawfully, or applying both.
Reasons for applying Article 20
- Providing misleading information, documents, or essential data.
- Concealing any essential information that must be disclosed.
- Defrauding in any way to obtain support.
Penalties resulting from the application of Article 20
- Stop support: Support is stopped for the primary beneficiary.
- Deprivation of support: The period of deprivation is up to two years.
- Recovery of support: Support obtained through illegal means is recovered.
- Applying both penalties: The two penalties can be applied together according to the necessary legal procedures.
