"Fujairah International Mining" Concludes its tenth session
Fujairah, 30 October / WAM / The tenth session of the Fujairah International Mining Conference stressed, at the conclusion of its work, the importance of enhancing the use of artificial intelligence and digital technologies in the mining system and developing advanced programs to build the capabilities of national cadres, support sustainability projects, and rehabilitate mining sites after operation.
It also urged strengthening international partnerships and exchanging experiences between countries and organizations, modernizing legislative frameworks, stimulating qualitative investments, protecting geological heritage and promoting geotourism.
The recommendations came after three days full of scientific sessions, specialized workshops, and international meetings that brought together an elite group of experts, decision-makers, and specialists from more than 50 countries.
The closing ceremony included honoring sponsors, strategic partners, supporters and media, in addition to appreciating the efforts of the work teams, volunteers and organizational committees that contributed to providing a distinguished organizational experience.
His Excellency Engineer Mohammed Saif Al Afkham, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Fujairah Natural Resources Foundation, expressed his pride in the results achieved by this session, stressing that the conference represents a prestigious Arab and international platform for dialogue and development of the mining sector, indicating that this success reflects the vision of the wise leadership, the cooperation of partners and the confidence of the participants, and places Fujairah in a leadership position to promote sustainable mining practices.
For his part, His Excellency Engineer Ali Muhammad Qasim, Director General of the Fujairah Natural Resources Foundation, confirmed that the results of the conference enhance the process of institutional work and international partnership in the sector.
