Registration opens on the second day of Al-Ahly Club elections
This Friday morning, the work of the second day of the Al-Ahly Club’s regular general assembly began at the club’s headquarters on the island, in order to complete the procedures for electing a new board of directors for the session from 2025 to 2029.
The first hours witnessed the opening of registration for the general assembly lists to working members, in preparation for the start of the voting process to choose the new board of directors that will lead the Red Castle during the next four years.
The Judicial Committee confirmed The Supervisor of Elections stated that the quorum for the Assembly to be held requires the presence of at least five thousand members, after it was not possible to complete it on the first day, noting that registration will continue until seven in the evening, with the possibility of extending it until nine in the evening by decision of the Chairman of the Committee, provided that registration stops temporarily during the performance of Friday prayers.
The agenda of the General Assembly includes approving the minutes of the authorized Board of Directors meeting on December 8, 2024, and discussing the Board of Directors’ report on its work for the financial year ending on June 30. 2025, in addition to approving the activity plan for the fiscal year 2025 – 2026, before moving to the voting stage to choose the new Board of Directors.
The elections are held in an atmosphere of joy, as today is a holiday for Al-Ahly fans who follow the great event with passion and pride in the value and history it represents inside the Red Castle.
