UNRWA: We continue to perform our humanitarian role in Gaza despite the difficulties

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees, UNRWA, confirmed that it continues to perform its vital humanitarian role in the Gaza Strip, despite the challenges and difficult conditions that the population is experiencing.
UNRWA said on its page on the “X” website that its schools in the Strip still constitute a safe haven for displaced families, after its halls were transformed into temporary housing for them, noting that its teams are Social workers provide protection services and psychological and social support, and help those affected to restore their lives with dignity.
She added that more than 12,000 of her cadres in Gaza continue to work daily in the fields of education, health care, and providing basic assistance to the displaced, stressing that every lesson, medical consultation, or water distribution and waste collection operation is behind an UNRWA worker who proves daily that the agency continues its work despite all difficulties.
