Al-Zeyoudi: Flag Day is a national occasion that embodies feelings of dignity and pride
ABU DHABI, 3rd November, 2017 (WAM) – His Excellency Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of Foreign Trade, affirmed that Flag Day is an occasion dear to the hearts of all Emiratis, as it embodies the feelings of pride and pride in the hearts and minds of the people of the Emirates, of their homeland and their fluttering flag. It is an opportunity to express the values of unity, cohesion and belonging among the people of the nation, and to recall the meanings of sacrifice, loyalty and giving that were instilled by the founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God have mercy on him. And with him are the founding fathers, may God bless them. These are the values on which the foundations of the Union were built, so that the journey of achievements began and continued, generation after generation, and so that the flag of the Union continued to fly high and high.
He said: “In the spirit of the union, the inspiration of the founding fathers, and the vision of our wise leadership, the UAE continues the pioneering development process, which began up to the banner of the union, to consolidate the country’s position globally in all fields, and to become a meeting point for the peoples of the world, a gateway to facilitating trade and investment flows between all parts of the globe, and a preferred destination for talented and ambitious people seeking to achieve their dreams in an environment that stimulates innovation, growth and prosperity.”
His Excellency Al-Zeyoudi added: “On this dear national occasion, we renew our pledge, loyalty, and determination to continue working diligently to keep the banner of our dear homeland high for the nations to brag about, and to continue the procession of achievements in all fields under the banner of our wise leadership.”
