Chairman of the Emirates Council for Sharia Fatwa: Celebrating Flag Day is an expression of loyalty and national belonging

ABU DHABI, 3rd November, 2018 (WAM) – His Excellency Allama Abdullah bin Bayyah, Chairman of the Emirates Council for Sharia Fatwa, stressed that celebrating Science Day is an expression of loyalty and national belonging that religion urges and considers part of faith, noting the importance of instilling this culture and spreading it among members of society from all segments.
On this occasion, His Excellency extended his warmest congratulations to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, and their brothers, Their Highnesses Members of the Supreme Council, Rulers of the Emirates, and Crown Princes.
His Excellency said that Flag Day is an occasion to show the meanings of unity and union under which the people of the Emirates live, and he considered that this day is a tribute to the nation through the symbol of sovereignty that represents the United Arab Emirates and the lofty values it carries, established by the late Sheikh Zayed, may God have mercy on him, and his brothers among the founding leaders who raised the flag and handed over its trust to their loyal children who carried it ably, generation after generation.
