Mohammed bin Rashid witnesses the 2025 annual meetings of the UAE government

Abu Dhabi, 5 November / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, “may God protect him”, witnessed today the work of the annual meetings of the UAE government 2025, which are being held in the capital, Abu Dhabi, in the presence of more than 500 state leaders and officials in various government agencies, and will continue until tomorrow.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum said: “Today witnessed the annual meetings of the UAE government… the largest national gathering of work teams and state leaders… We are working in the spirit of unity, and under the guidance of my brother Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, towards achieving our national priorities and accelerating their achievement… Our national teams are working in harmony and sincerity to enhance the UAE’s leadership in all sectors.”

During the annual meetings, His Highness witnessed specific activities and initiatives aimed at accelerating the pace of achievement in national priorities, enhancing the country’s leadership in future sectors, and consolidating its position and influential role at the regional and global levels.

During the annual meetings of the UAE government 2025, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum attended the ceremony honoring the winners of the second edition of the Emirates Artificial Intelligence Award, and the ceremony honoring the winners of the Emirates Medal for Culture and Creativity in its second edition.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum also witnessed a dialogue session by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, during which he reviewed the vision of the Emirate of Fujairah in building people and consolidating comprehensive development.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum visited the “Our National Identity: Legacy and Trust” exhibition, which embodies a living experience in displaying national achievements, highlights the authentic cultural heritage and national values ​​of the UAE, and identifies the qualitative achievements of government agencies.

His Highness also inspected the “Pulse of the Nation” exhibition, which aims to embody the UAE’s vision of building a deeper national and societal awareness of the issues and challenges of Emirati families, through its interactive activities and innovative experiences.

The agenda of the annual meetings of the UAE government for 2025 included holding a meeting of the Ministerial Council for Development, with the participation of a number of His Excellency the ministers and officials of federal and local government agencies in the country, for the first time. During the meeting, joint national projects and initiatives were discussed in a number of areas of government coordination at the state level, in addition to holding meetings of the executive councils in Ajman, Umm Al Quwain and Ras Al Khaimah.

The agenda of the annual meetings included the launch of many qualitative initiatives, most notably the “Artificial Intelligence Readiness Index”, a package of integrated projects and initiatives to support the country’s leadership in the field of artificial intelligence and the digital economy, and an initiative to inventory 1,000 uses of artificial intelligence and study it in the “Technological Experiments Innovations” series, in addition to the UAE government launching a number of strategic partnerships that enhance cooperation with universities and national academic institutions to support institutional excellence.

The agenda also included the organization of several main sessions and national briefings that addressed the most prominent developments in the most important files within the national priorities, including the achievements achieved within the objectives of the “We are the Emirates 2031” vision, the national projects to reduce traffic congestion, and the reality of the health system in the country, in addition to the most important regional and global transformations at various levels, the vision of the UAE and its readiness to deal with global changes, the role of values ​​in enhancing societal cohesion in light of global changes, and the achievements made by the UAE in terms of water security.

The annual meetings of the UAE government in 2025 also witnessed the holding of a series of dialogue sessions within the “Pulse of the Nation” space, which formed an interactive national platform that brought together officials of the federal and local authorities concerned with the family file, to discuss the systems and policies that support the Emirati family and ensure its sustainability as a pillar of comprehensive national development.

In a precedent, the first of its kind within the annual meetings of the UAE government, the UAE Government Media Office organized the “Emirates International Press Conference”, with the participation of a number of Their Excellencies the ministers, and the presence of more than 200 journalists and media professionals representing major local, regional and international media outlets.
