Water was cut off on Friday evening "Dahab Island – Saqia Mekki – Umm Al-Masryeen Residences" In Giza
Giza Governorate announced that the Giza Water and Sanitation Company had cut off water to the areas: "Dahab Island, Saqia Mekki, Umm al-Masryeen Residences" South Giza district, This is for a period of 8 hours, starting from ten o’clock in the evening on Friday, corresponding to 11/7/2025, until six o’clock in the morning on Saturday, corresponding to November 8, 2025.
The company attributed the reason for the water cutoff to the work of connecting the new 500 mm diameter expulsion line to the existing line, which is related to the Manasterly sewage station.
The Giza Governorate clarifies that the drinking water company will provide potable water trucks located in the areas. If you request it, please call the hotline 125 until the work is completed and water is restored to the citizens.
