The President of the National Council for Women congratulates Counselor Issam Farid on assuming the presidency of the Senate
Counselor Amal Ammar, President of the National Council for Women, today, Thursday, in her name and on behalf of all members of the National Council for Women, extended sincere congratulations and appreciation to Counselor Issam Farid. On the occasion of his assumption of the presidency of the Senate, wishing him continued success in performing his legislative duties in a way that serves the nation.
This came during the meeting today with Counselor Essam Farid, President of the Senate, Counselor Amal Ammar, President of the National Council for Women, and her accompanying delegation.
The President of the National Council for Women affirmed, during the meeting, that Egyptian women are living their golden age under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, who has given women’s issues undivided attention. For his part, Counselor Essam Farid expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to Counselor Amal Ammar for the kind congratulations, appreciating the efforts of the National Council for Women in supporting and strengthening the status of Egyptian women in various fields.
The President of the Senate stressed, during the meeting, his keenness to continue joint cooperation and coordination between the two councils, In support of the rights of women and the Egyptian family, and in a way that contributes to achieving further progress and prosperity for the nation.
The meeting was attended by Counselor Fares Saad, Deputy Secretary of the Senate, Counselor Dr. Ahmed Abdel Ghani, Secretary-General of the Council, and Counselor Amr Yousry, Legal Advisor to the President of the Council.
