The Pharaohs are on the cusp of a new achievement…the position of the Egypt group in the Junior World Cup

The Egyptian national team imposed itself as the leader of the fifth group with 4 points, coming very close to clinching the qualification ticket to the round of 32.

The Pharaohs came first after beating Haiti 4-1 in the first round, then drawing against Venezuela 1-1, putting the Egyptian national team itself at the top of the standings.

On the other hand, the England national team achieved its first victory in the tournament after sweeping Haiti with a score. 8-1, to gain its first 3 points and return to competing for runner-up.

The fifth group standings were as follows:

1- Egypt  4 points

2- Venezuela  3 points 

3- England 3 points

4- Haiti 0 points 

The group is awaiting the final round match that will bring Egypt together with England, While Venezuela plays against Haiti, amid strong competition for the three possible qualification tickets between Egypt, England and Venezuela.
