Youth Coordination: Heavy turnout in the Gulf countries at polling stations in the parliamentary elections

The Central Operations Room, in coordination with the Youth Parties and Politicians Coordination, followed up on the voting of Egyptians abroad for the first phase of the House of Representatives elections, which includes 14 governorates, as the electoral committees opened at exactly nine in the morning according to the local time of each country, and the electoral process takes place inside the headquarters of 139 embassies and consulates in 117 countries, and the electoral competition takes place between 2,598 candidates on the individual system and 4 lists on the closed list system.

 The Central Operations Room operates Coordination has been conducted around the clock since the opening of the first electoral committee at the headquarters of the Egyptian Embassy in New Zealand at 10 pm yesterday, Cairo time, and the last electoral committee opens at the headquarters of the Egyptian Consulate in Los Angeles at 7 pm today, Cairo time.

The Central Operations Room of Coordination monitored the regularity of the electoral process in various committees around the world, amid heavy turnout in the Arab Gulf countries, especially in the State of Kuwait, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. The Chamber also monitored a significant turnout in some European countries, led by Italy and Greece.

The Central Coordination Operations Room did not detect any electoral violations on the first day of Egyptians voting abroad in the first phase, and the Operations Room’s follow-up continues around the clock until voting closes in the last electoral committee.
