The United States lifts sanctions on Russian energy supplies to Hungary

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban announced that Russian energy supplies to his country are completely exempt from US sanctions.

Orban said: We have obtained complete exemption from sanctions… There are no sanctions that would restrict energy supplies to Hungary or increase its cost.
