Youth Coordination: Egyptian voters flock to Jordan to vote on the second day of the 2025 House of Representatives elections
The Egyptian embassy in Jordan witnessed a turnout from members of the Egyptian community, who came from the early hours of the morning of the second day to cast their votes in the 2025 House of Representatives elections.
The voting process for Egyptians residing abroad in the first phase of the 2025 House of Representatives elections takes place on Friday and Saturday inside 139 Egyptian embassies and consulates in 117 State.
This comes in conjunction with the announcement of the Coordination of Youth of Parties and Politicians about the work of the Central Operations Room to follow up on the progress of the voting process for Egyptians abroad, within the framework of the Coordination’s keenness to monitor the course of the electoral process and follow up the organizational atmosphere at the headquarters of diplomatic missions, and to ensure that voting procedures are facilitated for citizens in accordance with the instructions of the National Elections Authority.
The room follows up around the clock turnout rates and observations of Egyptians abroad. Regarding the conduct of the vote, to convey an accurate and transparent picture of the electoral process.
The voting process is scheduled to continue until the evening of the second and final day for Egyptians to vote abroad, in preparation for the start of the sorting operations and sending the results to the National Elections Authority in Cairo for official announcement.
It is noteworthy that the House of Representatives elections are held in two stages, in which 2,598 candidates compete in the individual system, and 4 lists in the closed list system, and voting in the first round for the first stage takes place on two days. 7 and 8 November abroad, and at home on November 10 and 11, with the official result being announced on November 18. The replay will be held abroad on December 1 and 2, and at home on December 3 and 4, and the result of the replay will be announced on December 11.
