"Judo team" He won gold in "Islamic Solidarity Games"

RIYADH, 8th November, 2018 (WAM) – Our national judo team player, Bashirat Kharudi, won the first gold medal for the UAE in the 2025 Islamic Solidarity Games, currently being held in the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia until November 21st.
Kharudi’s coronation came after several stages of competition in the under-52 kg category, with the participation of 12 prominent ranked players, by defeating Kazakhstan’s champion Iova Tolganay. She also defeated Uzbekistan’s champion Mukhayu Akhmatova, while in the final she defeated Tajikistan’s champion Madina Qarbutroda.
His Excellency Mohammed bin Thaloub Al Darei, President of the Emirates Judo Federation, praised the distinguished level of player Bashirat Kharudi and her winning of the gold medal. He also congratulated the National Olympic Committee on this achievement, hoping that the march of achievements will continue in the rest of the upcoming competitions.
