praised The World Bank supports the Kingdom’s efforts to make education available to all, ensure its quality and improve learning outcomes, and plays a role "Education and Training Evaluation Commission" In enhancing the performance of The education system in the Kingdom, referring to a number of national programs implemented by the Authority – in integration with Ministry of Education– to raise the quality of learning outcomes, through building and implementing an integrated system for evaluation and measurement.

This was stated in the report prepared by a team of experts, and recently published by the World Bank, entitled "Improving education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through evaluation and measurement"

The World Bank confirmed that the Kingdom has achieved advanced levels in making education available to all, and has approached almost full enrollment rates, noting that efforts are now focused on improving quality, which has resulted in an increase in the average achievement in the international reading test for fourth grade students (Pearls) in the Kingdom, equivalent to a year of study, when comparing the results of the test in 2016 with its results in 2021, and the performance of the Kingdom’s students in the subjects of mathematics and science has improved, equivalent to two years of study between Years 2015 and 2023, according to the results of the International Test in Mathematics and Science (TIMS).

Education and Training Evaluation Commission

The World Bank praised the impact "Education and Training Evaluation Commission" In the transformation of education in the Kingdom, and its efforts to adopt high standards of education, and to establish a culture of comprehensive measurement and evaluation with the aim of development, reviewing the tangible impact of both the national tests (NAFES), which included nearly one and a half million students in the year 2025, and the National Program for School Evaluation, Classification and Accreditation, which contributes to raising the level of quality of education and enhancing the institutional responsibility of the school, one of the results of which was honoring 760 distinguished schools at the National Forum for School Excellence in 2025, and before that. 292 schools in 2024.

The evaluation data produced from these two programs contribute to supporting the development of teaching and learning processes and improving educational performance in schools.

The Kingdom’s Vision 2030

The World Bank highlighted an aspect of the digital transformation solutions and data that the Authority relied on in implementing its programs and focusing on creating impact, including the platform "Excellence" Digital technology has facilitated the school evaluation process and made it more efficient, as well as an application "Their future" Which contributed to enhancing transparency and enabling parents to follow up on their children’s results in the Authority’s tests and the performance of their schools.

The World Bank concluded its report by confirming that improving the quality of education in the Kingdom is an essential pillar for developing human capabilities and supporting sustainable economic growth in the Kingdom in light of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, and that the Authority continues to implement comprehensive evaluation programs that contribute to achieving those national goals.
