Yousri Sami wins a judo bronze in the Islamic Solidarity Tournament

Yousry Sami, a player for the national judo team, won third place and a bronze medal during his participation in the Islamic Solidarity Games, which are currently being held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and will continue until November 21.

Yousry Sami began his career in the Islamic Solidarity Games in the semi-finals, a match he lost to a Kazakhstan player.

Yousry Sami achieved victory over the Ain Bissau national team player, in the bronze match for the weight class. 60 kg, in the Islamic Solidarity Tournament.

The roster of the judo team in the Islamic Solidarity Tournament includes:

Yousry Sami (60 kg) – Abdel Rahman Abdel Ghani (81 kg) – Ali Abdel Al (90 kg) – Omar Al Ramli (100 kg) – Mohamed Abdo (+100 kg).

Tasneem Rushdi (57 kg) – Fatima Ghanem (63 kg) – Safa Soliman (+ 78 kg).

Egypt is participating with a symbolic delegation during the Islamic Solidarity Games competitions, which are held in Riyadh from November 7 to 21, in 12 games out of 23 games included in the competition schedule.

Egypt is competing during the Islamic Solidarity Games in Riyadh, in swimming, athletics, basketball 3×3, boxing, camel, Equestrian, judo, table tennis, taekwondo, weightlifting, wrestling, Paralympic Games (athletics – weightlifting).
