The event aims to showcase the latest technologies in the fields of smart autonomous systems across the land, sea, air and robotics sectors, reflecting Abu Dhabi’s position as a leading global destination in shaping the future of sustainable smart mobility.

The Integrated Transport Center’s participation in the exhibition stems from its role as a legislative and regulatory body concerned with developing policies that support the adoption of smart transportation solutions in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. The Center continues its efforts to develop legal frameworks and regulatory policies that support the safe and efficient adoption of autonomous technologies, including vehicles, drones, and robotic transportation systems.

He explained that the center works according to advanced regulatory frameworks and policies that enable the adoption of the latest technical solutions in the transportation sector in order to achieve safety, efficiency and sustainability, and contribute to raising the quality of life and enhancing the competitiveness of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi globally.

He pointed out that the “Abu Dhabi Autonomous Systems Week” constitutes a leading global platform that brings together leaders, innovators, decision makers and investors to accelerate the pace of development and adoption of autonomous system technologies in various land, sea, air and industrial sectors, thus enhancing Abu Dhabi’s position as a pioneering city in supporting the innovation system and encouraging investment in smart transportation.

He added that the emirate continues to consolidate its global position in developing integrated transportation systems by investing in modern infrastructure, supporting research and development, and adopting advanced legislation that keeps pace with future technologies, in line with its ambitious vision to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 and enhance the quality of life for all members of society.
