DP World extends its partnership with the DP World Golf Tour until 2035
Dubai, November 11 / WAM / DP World Group and the DP World Golf Tour announced today the extension of their long-term partnership, in a move that confirms their commitment to developing the game of golf.
This comes under a new agreement that is considered the largest in the history of the tour, under which the DP World Group will continue as a major partner and official logistics partner until 2035.
Under this renewed agreement, DP World will continue its official sponsorship of the DP World Dubai Tour Championship until 2035, the season-ending championship and one of the Rolex Series events, where the Race to Dubai champion is crowned.
DP World will also become an official partner of 15 more tournaments each season, providing greater opportunities to engage with fans and communities in key markets.
The original agreement began in 2022 and saw the European Tour renamed the DB World Tour. The agreement has contributed to the continued expansion of the World Golf Tour, with 42 tournaments being held in 26 different countries this season, with record prize money and a growing fan base, making golf more global, more inclusive and better connected than ever before.
