Dubai International Arbitration Center launches the new arbitration platform "DANA"
Dubai, November 12, 2017 – The Dubai International Arbitration Center announced today the launch of its new digital arbitration platform, “DANA by DIAC”, which was developed in cooperation with “Opus 2”, a global company working in the field of legal software.
The platform provides a unified digital environment that brings together parties, legal practitioners, arbitrators, and the case management team at the Dubai International Arbitration Center, within an integrated system that facilitates cooperation between them.
The platform includes a set of key features, including a unified electronic submission system, case registration, and document submission, in addition to advanced capabilities in case management and workflow, which contributes to raising the efficiency of daily procedures and ensuring the highest levels of transparency, consistency, and ease of access for all users.
The platform will be available to various parties starting January 2026.
Robert Steven, Registrar of the Dubai International Arbitration Center, said that the new platform contributes to enhancing confidence in the arbitration services provided by the Center by providing a reliable and safe environment for managing cases, and that this step reflects the Center’s continued focus on adopting the highest standards of quality and excellence and providing an exceptional customer service experience at all levels.
The platform works to unify and automate the basic processes in the arbitration system, by simplifying workflow, reducing administrative burdens, and enabling immediate cooperation between parties.
These integrated solutions will enhance the system of services provided by the center while improving the user experience to new levels of efficiency and effectiveness.
