The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Affairs of Egyptians Abroad, Dr. Badr Abdel-Aty, met with the guidance of the President of the Republic, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, in Ankara today, Wednesday, with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of the Republic of Türkiye. For Turkish investments, pointing to the promising opportunities provided by the National Investment Strategy 2024-2030 and the ongoing legislative and financial reforms, with the aim of raising the volume of trade exchange to $15 billion over the next five years.
The Foreign Ministry spokesman said that the meeting dealt with developments in the situation in the Gaza Strip, where Minister Abdel-Ati appreciated the close cooperation between Egypt, Turkey, Qatar and the United States in reaching the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Agreement, stressing the importance of building on this agreement. And fixing it in a way that ensures the entry of humanitarian aid without obstacles and creates conditions for reconstruction.
In this context, the Foreign Minister briefed the Turkish President on the ongoing preparations for holding the Cairo International Conference for Early Recovery and Reconstruction of Gaza, expressing Egypt’s aspiration for effective Turkish participation in the conference in support of international efforts to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people.
The meeting also discussed the ongoing consultations on the draft Security Council resolution on Gaza and the International Stabilization Force, and the need to link the West Bank was stressed. Western and Gaza Strip to ensure the unity of the Palestinian territories.

He stressed that a comprehensive political solution is the only way to end the crisis and achieve the aspirations of the brotherly Sudanese people.
The meeting also touched on the latest developments in the situation in Libya, where Minister Abdel-Ati stressed the constants of the Egyptian position in support of the unity and sovereignty of Libya, stressing that the Libyan-Libyan dialogue is the only way to achieve stability.
