Saud bin Saqr witnesses a musical evening by Italian pianist Alessandro Martier in Ras Al Khaimah
Ras Al Khaimah, 14 November / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, witnessed the musical evening presented by the famous Italian pianist and composer Alessandro Martier, under the title “Desert Waves: A Musical Journey”, in the presence of a number of Their Excellencies, ambassadors accredited to the state, and senior officials, at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel – Al Wadi Desert in Ras Al Khaimah.
His Highness stressed that music is a universal language that combines creativity and beauty, and contributes to consolidating human communication between cultures and peoples, and enhancing the status of the arts as an authentic pillar of cultural and societal development.
His Highness explained that supporting the artistic and cultural scene in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah embodies a firm conviction that comprehensive development is based on elevating the human being and enriching his conscience, noting that the arts represent an essential element in the community development process pursued by the Emirate, and reflect its identity that is open to the world.
His Highness, the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, praised the Italian artist’s performance and the classical pieces he presented, full of feeling, that reflected the depth of the musical experience and its global aesthetics.
During the evening, Martyr presented various musical selections that received great interaction from the audience, who enjoyed the artistic harmony and high-quality performance.
For his part, Martir expressed his happiness at celebrating this evening in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, praising the support of His Highness the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah for the arts and creative talents in the emirate, and his interest in enhancing cultural dialogue between the East and the West.
