"Emirates Global Aluminium" The third season of the program concludes "Rump-up" To support entrepreneurs

Abu Dhabi, November 14 / WAM / Emirates Global Aluminium, today, announced the conclusion of the third season of the “Ramp-Up” programme, which was launched in 2022 with the support of the Ministry of Economy and Tourism in the UAE.
The program aims to enhance opportunities for the growth and prosperity of emerging companies, encourage entrepreneurship in the UAE market, and provides intensive training and guidance courses by international experts for entrepreneurs to support their pioneering projects that contribute to promoting sustainable economic growth.
The program seeks to develop potential new suppliers for companies joining the program in order to increase their local purchases, which contributes to strengthening the entrepreneurship system in the country, and supports achieving the goals of the national campaign, “The UAE is the Entrepreneurial Capital of the World,” which aims to consolidate the UAE’s position as a leading global destination for entrepreneurship and emerging projects.
On this occasion, His Excellency Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy and Tourism, said that the UAE attaches great importance to developing and developing the skills of entrepreneurs and emerging project owners, as they are a major foundation in building a future economy based on knowledge, innovation and competitiveness, through adopting supportive initiatives and programs that enhance their capabilities and provide them with the ideal environment for growth and prosperity, which contributes to diversifying the national economy and consolidating the country’s position as a global center for entrepreneurship and innovation.
His Excellency pointed out the importance of the fruitful cooperation between the Ministry and Emirates Global Aluminium, through the “RAMP-UP” programme, which plays a vital role in enhancing the competitiveness of the innovation and entrepreneurship environment in the country and pushing it to more advanced and prosperous levels.
Abdul Nasser Bin Kalban, CEO of Emirates Global Aluminum, said that the company supports the country’s vision of establishing a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, which drives economic diversification and sustainable development. He expressed their pride in introducing the “Ramp-Up” program to enable innovative entrepreneurs in the UAE to launch their businesses that rely on the principles of sustainability and contribute to creating additional value for society. He expressed his aspiration for the winners to join the list of local suppliers for Emirates Global Aluminium.
This season of the “Ramp-Up” program attracted hundreds of applications for participation submitted by Emirati entrepreneurs and residents of the country, covering various sectors such as digital innovation, supply chains, logistics, environment, sustainability, human resources, and health and safety.
After an evaluation process that witnessed great competition, 10 startups were selected for the final list for the third season of the program, including: EquaTalent, Huntr, HyveGeo Limited, Magmec, Mindme, Navatech, Re-skill, syd Life AI, The AM Lab, and Third Body Dynamics.
The ten finalist entrepreneurs received personal mentoring and training from senior executives at EGA, sustainable business management experts, and financing from RAMP-UP partners, including Microsoft and Sandooq Al Watan.
EGA is implementing the “Ramp-Up” program in cooperation with C3 Foundation, a UAE-based social enterprise that supports entrepreneurs in the region to enhance the growth potential of startups and increase their positive impact on society and the environment.
