The Palestinian President discusses with the Director of UNESCO the harmonization of Palestinian educational curricula with international standards

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas directed the Palestinian government to send a high-level delegation headed by the Minister of Education and Higher Education, to consult with the United Nations Scientific and Cultural Organization “UNESCO”. About aligning Palestinian educational curricula with international standards adopted by UNESCO.
This came during a phone call made by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas with the Director-General of UNESCO, Dr. Khaled Al-Anani, who recently assumed his duties, according to the Palestinian News Agency (Wafa).
This comes within the framework of the State of Palestine’s endeavor to develop education in terms of form and content, in a way that preserves the essence of Palestinian national awareness, and is consistent with UNESCO standards. And international obligations.
