Saeed bin Saqr Al Qasimi crowned the judo and calistanitics champions"Kalba beach games"
Kalba, November 15, 2017 – Sheikh Saeed bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Deputy Head of the Office of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, in the city of Khor Fakkan, was crowned the champion of judo and calistanitics in the competitions of the eighth day of the fifth Kalba Beach Games, which also witnessed the holding of the final basketball matches for the cubs.
The coronation was attended by His Excellency Engineer Adel Saleh Al Hammadi, member of the Sharjah Sports Council, His Excellency Abdul Malik Jani, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Tournament, His Excellency Issa Bin Howeiden, Member of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Judo Federation, His Excellency Dr. Nasser Al Tamimi, Secretary General of the Federation, His Excellency Muhammad Al Sajwani, Assistant Secretary, and Bakhit Saeed Al Qarqas, Deputy Director of the Tournament and Deputy Director of the General Supervision Office.
Today, the winners of the first three places in the different age groups in judo were crowned for the different weights of the senior and junior categories, who competed in 20 different weights amid the presence of a large audience with the participation of 280 players.
In the Calitistanics category, in the professional category, Omar Abdel Sattar took first place, followed by Angelo Tyvek in second place, and Hossam Tarek in third place.
In the amateur category, player Harmstorson took first place, Abdullah Mohammed came second, and Adel Jimi came third.
On the sidelines of the competition, the global champion and content creator, Andrea, was honored.
In the basketball category for the cubs, the Sharjah Club was able to obtain first place and gold medals, followed by Al Hamriyah Club in second place, while Khor Fakkan obtained third place.
In beach soccer, Kalba was able to advance to the final match at the expense of the Tigers team by winning 7-4, while Al-Hamidi achieved a major victory at the expense of Emirates B with a score of 13-1.
The tournament’s activities began with boxing qualifiers, and the first place winners will be honored on the closing day.
