The Mufti of the Republic condemns the crime of burning a mosque in the West Bank

Dr. Nazir Muhammad Ayyad, Mufti of the Republic, Head of the General Secretariat of Fatwa Houses and Bodies in the World, condemned in the strongest terms the incident of burning the Al-Hajjah Hamida Mosque in the West Bank, stressing that this criminal attack reflects the state of lawlessness practiced by settlers under the protection of the occupation forces, and demonstrates the extent of the danger of inflammatory speech that fuels hatred and violates the sanctity of sanctities.

The Mufti of the Republic stressed that targeting mosques and inflicting Damaging them is an act that is inconsistent with human values before it is a clear violation of international laws, stressing that the attack on the houses of God affects the Muslim faith and increases the suffering of the Palestinian people, who face continuous attacks on their land, property, and sanctities.

The Mufti of the Republic called on the international community to take urgent action to ensure the cessation of these repeated attacks, and obliges the occupation to respect the sanctity of places of worship, and to take legal measures to hold those involved in this heinous crime accountable, and not to allow Continuing the policy of impunity.
