Jordan approves an American grant worth $845 million to support the treasury for the year 2025

The Jordanian Council of Ministers decided, in its session held today, Sunday, chaired by Prime Minister Dr. Jaafar Hassan, to approve the annual cash support grant agreement provided by the government of the United States of America, to transfer $845 million in direct support to the public treasury account for the year 2025.
The Council affirmed that the grant comes within the context of the strategic partnership between Jordan and the United States, and the status and appreciation that Jordan enjoys in Washington under the leadership of the Jordanian King. Abdullah II.
The Council of Ministers – during the session – authorized the Minister of Planning and International Cooperation to sign the grant agreement on behalf of the Jordanian government.
