Dubai, 17 November / WAM / The Professional Triathlon Athletes Organization confirmed that the second edition of the Dubai Triathlon “T100” achieved an exceptional success, noting that the return of the tournament to the Meydan Racecourse came amid a distinguished atmosphere and a large attendance that reflects Dubai’s position as a global destination for multiple sports.
The Dubai Triathlon T100 Championship concluded its activities yesterday after four days of international competitions and community activities, with the participation of more than eight thousand athletes.
The championship was organized in cooperation between the Professional Triathlon Athletes Organization and the World Triathlon Federation, with the support of the Dubai Sports Council and the Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai.
Sam Renouf, CEO of the organization, expressed his happiness at returning to Dubai again in this edition, pointing to the wide participation that exceeded eight thousand athletes during the past days, in one of the most prominent locations that host our races around the world.
He added that Dubai has become a major stop in the T100 racing series, along with major cities such as London and San Francisco, stressing that the elaborate organization and ideal environment provided by the emirate give the event a distinctive character.
He explained that Dubai has also become one of the most prominent global locations, and the race there expresses the true identity of the championship, which is based on hosting iconic destinations around the world.
Renouf announced that Dubai will host the next edition of the championship during the period from November 12 to 15, 2026, stressing the organization’s keenness to continue holding the race in the emirate for many years.
He praised the Dubai Fitness Challenge “30×30” initiative and the support it enjoys from the wise leadership, noting its role in promoting the culture of sports and physical activity.
