“Knowledge Authority” education map 2033 takes shape in “Education Dialogues 25”

The Knowledge and Human Development Authority in Dubai confirmed that the Education 2033 map is being formed through the Knowledge 2025 dialogues that bring together all categories of the private education system in Dubai.
This came during the Authority’s launch of “Education Dialogues 25” within the Education Strategy 2033, with the participation of about 200 teachers, parents, students and educational leaders in the private education system in the emirate, from the early childhood stage to higher education and post-graduation.

The Authority stated that the “Education Dialogues 25” series focuses on involving the educational community, including teachers, students, parents, school leaders and specialists, in designing educational initiatives and programs and reviewing the progress made in implementing the Dubai Education Strategy 2033.

A paradigm shift
The opening session of “Education Dialogues 25”, in the presence of Abdullah Mohammed Al Basti, Secretary-General of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai, and Aisha Abdullah Miran, Director-General of the Authority, focused on the ambitious education strategy that aims to create a qualitative shift in the education system in Dubai in a way that supports the objectives of the Dubai 2033 Plan and its economic and social agendas.

Seven areas
“Education Dialogues 25” included designing educational initiatives and projects within seven main areas, including: designing educational paths for Emirati students, building the Dubai Bridge for Educational Innovation by linking university research with entrepreneurship, in addition to ways to enhance the quality of teachers’ lives in a way that enhances the chances of retaining them, raises their morale, and improves the quality of teaching at the same time.
The participants discussed ways to enhance financial literacy for learners, as well as designing a flexible school day in a learner’s life that supports his quality of life, ways to build healthy digital habits for children in early childhood, in addition to ways to enhance concepts of sustainability in the school environment and the educational curriculum.

The collaborative sessions and workshops at Education Dialogues 25 aim to develop and design solutions and prototypes that contribute to accelerating the implementation of change initiatives within the seven targeted areas and transforming them into practical projects, in line with the objectives of the Dubai Education Strategy 2033.

Creating opportunities
Aisha Abdullah Miran, Director General of the Authority, said: “The Dubai Education Strategy 2033 embodies the vision of a city that does not stop creating opportunities for all, and the ambition of a wise leadership that believes that building people is the foundation of all sustainable development and any true renaissance. We renew our commitment to continuing cooperation with the educational community and enabling it with high-quality education options that focus on the learner in the first place, which reflects Dubai’s position as a prestigious international destination for distinguished education.”

Adopting the strategy
She pointed out that this edition of the “Education Dialogues” series coincides with about one year since the adoption of the Dubai Education Strategy 2033 by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai, and witnessed the implementation of many change initiatives that embodied the strength of the educational community and its ability to shape the future, and ensure the readiness of all learners, especially Emirati students, to face the challenges of the future. We are excited to continue working with students, teachers, parents and all stakeholders to make every learner’s journey in Dubai impactful, inclusive, and sustainable for life, and achieve the goals of the Dubai Education Strategy 2033.”

General harvest
The authority has implemented more than 12 major change initiatives since the adoption of the Education Strategy 2033 in October 2024. The initiatives focused on improving the quality of education, empowering teachers, enhancing the quality of life of students, and enhancing the role of parents and the educational community.

Most prominent initiatives
Among the most prominent initiatives targeting Emirati students is the “Excellence Wherever You Are” initiative, which contributed to supporting schools with high percentages of Emirati students and improving their performance, and the “Path Partners” initiative, through which the “Qarnas” service, the educational advisor for parents, was launched, and the “Dubai Program for Distinguished Students” and the “Hamdan Bin Mohammed Academic Scholarship Programme,” which aim to support and care for outstanding Emirati students in private schools, and enable high school graduates to pursue their university studies in The most prestigious international universities and academic programs. In addition to the “Al Freej Nursery” initiative, in cooperation with the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities in Dubai, which contributes to expanding early education opportunities for Emirati children based on cultural and national identity.

Go to the teacher
The “Arise for the Teacher” initiative focused on celebrating teachers with outstanding achievements, as more than 200 teachers were honored by granting them golden residency, while the “Educational Leaders” program aims to empower the Emirati teacher.

Tomorrow’s leaders
The “Leaders of Tomorrow” initiative contributed to strengthening the voice of students by establishing the first Dubai Student Council. The “Without Borders” initiative also supports students of determination and consolidates inclusive education in the emirate, while the “Language of Dhad” initiative contributes to developing the teaching of the Arabic language and Islamic education.

Policies and programs
The Authority also launched a package of policies, programs and guides aimed at empowering educational personnel, students and parents and providing a safe and stimulating learning environment, the most prominent of which are: unified guidelines for appointing educational personnel in private schools in Dubai, policies to improve the results of the Arabic language and Islamic education in private schools in Dubai, and a framework for quality care and education in the early childhood stage.

Dubai’s status
Dubai also witnessed the establishment of the National University of Dubai, the launch of the Dubai project to attract the best international universities, and the Dubai Scientific Research Network, which strengthens Dubai’s position as a global center for high-quality education.

28 initiatives
The Dubai Education Strategy 2033 aims to implement 28 change initiatives in successive stages during the coming period to achieve the best results at various age and academic levels, while specifying accurate performance indicators to evaluate results and achievements in a way that contributes to enhancing innovation so that it becomes an essential part of the teaching and learning journey for all learners in Dubai.
