President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, stressed that Egypt faces great challenges at various levels, stressing the importance of everyone coming together to achieve the goals of development and economic growth.
The President said – during his visit to the Police Academy and his conversation with some of the advanced students -: "If the idea of work is rooted in us, and we work with the required effort, we will ensure high quality in the various sectors, whether in the state or the private sector, to achieve what we aspire to. “For our Egypt,” adding that awareness is not just words said, but rather an understanding of life’s requirements and overcoming failure, challenges, and negative plans.
He explained that awareness includes all aspects of life, from dealing with social media to food and spiritual relationships with God Almighty, and that there is no issue that can be ignored.
The president continued: “When citizens reach the level of complete awareness of all aspects of their lives, this will be a A strong path to achieving sustainable development and the desired economic growth for Egypt,” stressing that the commitment of all Egyptians to conscious and fruitful work will be the key to achieving the country’s future achievements, in light of the current regional and international challenges. The President said: “Since the 1970s until today, we have witnessed a significant expansion in spending, and sometimes the available financial resources are insufficient, so we resort to borrowing to cover the gap between available and required spending.”
He added that getting rid of public debt requires collective will and great societal awareness, stressing the importance of citizens’ awareness of support policies and setting prices, saying: "When I have to reduce fuel subsidies, this is not for the sake of increasing, but rather to control the debt and prevent its increase, and societal understanding of these measures is necessary." A question about the forms of support provided to reduce the impact of economic conditions on the most needy groups: “I assume that the support is necessary, but this will make the state’s economy not recover. Should we continue with it or not?”, stressing the importance of citizen awareness of the size of the cost of support and its various forms. If you want us to get rid of these conditions and move beyond the stage of poverty and debt, there is no solution other than us being hard on ourselves.”
President Sisi said, “It is very important that you realize the details of the reality as part of the Egyptian state… so that no one tampers with your mind and tells you: Look what the country is doing and is not doing, while he is telling you half the truth,” wondering, “Is the solution that we are destroying it?” So can we build it after that? If the country is unable to move on without being demolished, then if it is demolished in order to build; The country will not rise again, not in 100 years.”
President Sisi spoke about the amount of resources required to raise the efficiency of public services, saying: “In order to have a good budget and spend it well, you need 50 trillion pounds a year without borrowing… 50 trillion provide everything the people need… so if you borrow this amount… then you By sabotaging it.”
President Sisi concluded by emphasizing that reducing reliance on borrowing will not be achieved except by controlling public spending, saying: “We talked about how to reduce the advance bill? To make my expenses free from support burdens…as much as possible.”
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi stressed that the state is making great efforts to qualify young people in the fields of digitization and artificial intelligence, stressing that this opportunity represents a decisive step to achieve development thanks to the large number of Egypt’s youth.
He pointed out that the digital education that the state has adopted for youth takes place through three gradual stages, It begins with a basic course lasting 3 months, followed by an advanced stage of 9 months, up to the master’s stage lasting for two years, which aims to graduate cadres capable of working in large and advanced fields, ensuring high-paying job opportunities.
He explained that the introductory stage prepares young people to work in outsourcing projects, while the second stage gives them greater experience, and the third stage qualifies them to work in leadership positions or in jobs with high incomes that may reach 30 thousand dollars. Monthly.
The president added: “If we can attract even 10% of high school students to learn computers and programming, we will achieve a real breakthrough in digital cadres, and Egypt will become at the forefront of the leading countries in this field.”
He pointed out that colleges and laboratories equipped to accommodate thousands of students are a practical step to ensure that training reaches the largest number of young people and prepares them for the market. Modern work.
