" Ajman transportation" Supports research projects and students in "Ajman Transport Conference"

Ajman, November 19 / WAM / The Ajman Transport Authority confirmed its support for the research and innovative projects of students participating in the “Ajman Transport Technology Conference and Exhibition 2025”, noting that it allocated during the exhibition the “Research Innovation Award” to support researchers and students and encourage them to develop projects that enhance the future of smart transportation.
The Authority explained that its support for student research and projects reflects the Emirate of Ajman’s commitment to strengthening its position as a leading center for future technologies in the transportation sector, and as an attractive environment for investments in vital sectors related to innovation and sustainable transportation.
Moza Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Director of the Corporate Communications Office at the Ajman Transport Authority, said that the conference constitutes an important knowledge platform for transferring the latest technical content related to the transportation sector, through the allocation of knowledge and media communication sites, in addition to a special platform affiliated with the Media Office of the Emirate of Ajman to conduct interviews and coverage with experts and specialists, and shed light on the most prominent modern solutions and discussions witnessed by the conference.
It stressed the authority’s keenness to highlight the efforts of the Emirate of Ajman in the field of transportation and modern transportation, to exchange knowledge and experiences with the participants, and to introduce the public to the latest technologies and projects that the emirate is working on within its vision of sustainable and smart transportation.
For his part, Mohammed Qasim from AJ Technology, a company specializing in global technology solutions, said that their participation in the conference focuses on reviewing the latest technologies that are being coordinated with the Ajman Transport Authority, and include future solutions such as transportation and shipping lines dedicated to goods, autonomous vehicles, and advanced smart technologies, in addition to drones, with the aim of providing faster and safer means of transportation.
He praised the success of the conference in its second edition and its role in enhancing the exchange of experiences and linking specialists with the latest findings in the global sustainable transport sector.
For his part, student Hassan Ali Hassan from the Applied Technology Schools in Ajman spoke about their project to develop a smart camera for face recognition using artificial intelligence, which contributes to enhancing the security and safety of students inside school buses and classrooms.
Meanwhile, student Zayed Mohammed presented an innovative application project that allows parents to monitor the boarding and disembarkation of their children from school buses, in addition to enabling the bus driver to accurately identify the students’ locations through smart cards linked to an interactive map system that determines the student’s location and the expected time period of his arrival.
A group of prominent companies and entities participated in the exhibition, including AG Industries, Platinum, Emirates Transport, Al-Futtaim Motors, Saed Traffic Systems, Dubai Technology, Arabia Taxi, and AG Technology, which displayed their latest products and solutions in the field of transportation and smart technologies.
