31 international organizations and institutions joined "Global Network of Future Foresight Institutions" In the Museum of the Future

Dubai, 19 November / WAM / The Dubai Future Foundation announced today, during the work of the Dubai Future Forum 2025, that 31 international organizations and institutions have joined the global network of future foresight institutions, which is headquartered at the Museum of the Future, bringing the number of members of the network to 91 members and institutions, one of the largest future foresight institutions in 33 countries around the world.
The Dubai Future Forum, the largest global gathering of experts and designers of the future and its international institutions, witnessed a remarkable presence of a number of experts and institutions from the network’s members to discuss opportunities for cooperation and partnership to launch new initiatives and programmes.
His Excellency Khalfan Juma Belhoul, CEO of the Dubai Future Foundation, said that this widespread global interest in joining the global network of future foresight institutions confirms the success of the pioneering model that Dubai is pursuing to institutionalize future foresight and expand its partnerships.
He stressed that this international network provides pioneers and institutions anticipating and designing the future with an open space to exchange innovative ideas, fruitful experiences and successful models, and a platform for launching qualitative initiatives in this vital field in accordance with the principle of strategic partnerships and continuous cooperation with everyone to design a prosperous future that includes everyone.
The launch of this global network of future-shaping institutions, supervised by the Dubai Future Foundation, was announced during the work of the Dubai Future Forum 2022, and it has achieved significant growth since then, as the year 2023 witnessed the joining of 36 institutions from 17 countries to the network, bringing the number of its members to 40 institutions at that time.
Then, it was announced that the number of its members had increased to 60 international organizations and institutions at the conclusion of the Dubai Future Forum 2024.
The objectives of the “Global Network of Future Foresight Institutions” include providing a platform that brings together the most important future design and strategic planning institutions to cooperate among themselves on developing future visions with a broader positive impact, highlighting the most promising sectors and opportunities of the future, offering innovative solutions and ways to address various challenges, and enhancing readiness for transformations and changes.
The network’s headquarters is located in the Museum of the Future in Dubai, where it contributes to highlighting Dubai’s pioneering role in building partnerships and promoting meaningful joint cooperation that enhances the design of the future.
Member institutions participate in knowledge programs and specialized training courses, which establishes a culture of long-term design thinking and strategic planning that benefits from shared knowledge, mutual expertise, and successful experiences within the network.
The group provides a platform to bring together forecasting institutions and enhance cooperation to identify important future opportunities and ways to anticipate and prepare for major trends.
