In public presence. Final date for a basketball-related league between Al-Ahly and Al-Ittihad
The Al-Ahly and Al-Ittihad Alexandria teams are preparing to engage in new confrontations in the final of the Al-Mattala Basketball League for the current season 2025/2026, at the level of the men’s and youth teams.
The Egyptian Federation revealed that the final round will be held on Saturday, November 22, at the Youth and Sports Hall on October 6, “Zewail”, where the Al-Mattala match will be held at four o’clock in the evening, while the men’s match will be held at four o’clock in the evening.
The second match will be held on Monday, November 24, with the linked match being held at five o’clock, while the men’s match will be held at seven-thirty in the evening.
As for the matches to determine third and fourth place, Sporting and Smouha will meet on Friday, November 21, in the same hall, where the linked match will be held at four o’clock in the evening, and the men’s match will be held at six-thirty in the evening.
The match will be held at six-thirty in the evening. The second will be on Sunday, November 23rd, with the Al-Mattala match being held at four o’clock in the evening, and the men’s match at six-thirty in the evening.
The Basketball Association announced the attendance of 600 fans in the final matches of the Al-Ahly League and Al-Ittihad of Alexandria, with 300 fans for each team.
Al-Ahly had qualified for the final of the Al-Mattala League after beating Sporting in the semi-finals.
While Al-Ittihad of Alexandria qualified for the final of the tournament, after Its victory over its neighbor Smouha with a score of 3-1 in the aggregate semi-final matches at the men’s and related level.
It is noteworthy that the semi-final matches of the related league were held in the main Burj Al Arab hall in Alexandria.
