The Minister of Housing receives the Algerian Ambassador in Cairo to discuss ways of cooperation between the two countries

Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, received Ambassador Mohamed Sufyan, Algerian Ambassador to Cairo, at the Ministry’s headquarters in the new capital, to discuss ways to enhance cooperation in the field of housing and urban development.

 

‏‎Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny welcomed the Ambassador of the Republic of Algeria, stressing the depth of the historical relations that bring together the two brotherly countries at all levels, and the keenness to expand the areas of cooperation between them. The two countries, praising the deep ties that unite the two brotherly peoples, which are an ideal model for constructive cooperation between Arab countries in a way that enhances joint Arab action.

 

Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny pointed out that the Egyptian state, under the leadership of Mr. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, has made great strides during the past ten years in the field of urban development and facilities in order to improve the quality of life. For citizens.

 

The minister added that the Egyptian state has promising investment opportunities in many fields, and that Egyptian companies have great potential in the areas of urban development, facilities, roads and new cities and that they are ready to share their experiences with sister countries.

 

The meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation between Egypt and Algeria in the fields of housing projects, infrastructure, new cities and the establishment of water and sanitation networks. And infrastructure and smart and sustainable cities, as well as projects to reconstruct historical and heritage areas, in addition to technical research and the provision of expertise and consultations.

 

For his part, Ambassador Muhammad Sufyan stressed the depth of the historical and fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries, explaining the importance of continuing to work on increasing cooperation and coordination to enhance integration between the two countries in light of the distinguished relations, as well as the aspiration to enhance ways of bilateral cooperation in all fields, especially in the field of housing and infrastructure. Infrastructure.

 

The Algerian ambassador praised the new capital, describing it as a successful model that expresses the thought and ability of the Egyptian state in completing this great project with a future vision.

 

The Algerian ambassador also congratulated the Minister of Housing on the occasion of the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum, which is a source of pride for every Arab.
