With American testimony, the United States does not intend to expand its nuclear capabilities

The US Permanent Representative to NATO Matthew Whitaker announced that the United States does not intend to expand its nuclear capabilities.

Whitaker said in a statement to Bloomberg: “I do not think we want to expand our nuclear capabilities, but we are seeking modernization.”

He added, “Modernization is necessary, and we need it.”
