Fudan University of China awards Aboulgheit an honorary doctorate

The Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, was awarded an honorary doctorate from the Chinese Fudan University in Shanghai, in a large ceremony at the university’s headquarters that included a large number of senior Arab academic and cultural figures and diplomats, in view of his outstanding and appreciated contributions to developing academic education and enhancing cooperation between the League of Arab States and Fudan University.
Jamal Rushdi, the official spokesman for the Secretary-General, stated that Aboul Gheit delivered a speech during the celebration In it, he expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to Fudan University and the Academic Committee of the State Council of China for awarding him an honorary doctorate, which he considers not only a tribute to his person, but also an appreciation for everything that the League of Arab States represents as a value and a symbol, as well as a bridge for constructive communication with all civilizations of the world.
